here are pics of my golf country i picked up today

its a rhd factory conversion also converted to a 1Z 1.9 diesel engine
apparently the vehicle spent most of its time in car shows in England before it was shipped down here
the engine ran bearings and the previous owner did not have the time to fix it as he lives in England and only comes here very seldom

Very nice Dean. Congrats!

I snapped this one in Asmara, Eritrea in 2011. Only one I have ever seen in real life.

What's happened to the Golf, Dean?

I would love more pics once you have it sorted.

Cheers

after almost a full year of waiting and looking for an engine I finally got round to sorting out the golf

here it is in the workshop waiting for the engine to be installed
[Image: erageqe3.jpg]

first step was to clean the gearbox

the to fit the gearbox to the engine
