RE: Gauteng Syncro Day 2014
If I remember correctly from discussions during our Zim trip the guys also want a strictly 4x4 trip every now and then...
We need to play a bit sometimes! But I would sure be in for a Pilanesberg trip at a later stage, but for now we already have the snow weekend and well as the 3 passes in the near future... E. It's not just a 4x4, it's a Syncro........ |

I may be a mechanic, but i can't fix stupid Bad planning on your part does not make your issue an crisis to me Bad workmanship by other garages does not entiltle you to better rates at me Syncro, syncro , syncro and more syncro, this is the syncro way of life |

RE: Gauteng Syncro Day 2014
Ok, it doesn't have to be THAT serious, just a few obstacles for an excuse to engage the lockers every now and then. They do become sticky you know....!
Also to get together with other Syncronauts.... It's not just a 4x4, it's a Syncro........ |

RE: Gauteng Syncro Day 2014
Hi Enkie I drove hennops today and apart from the dust the track was ok but worn. Very little water in mud hole. I am driving to Pretoria tomorrow, rietfontien nature reserve on the Dalmas road just to keep the wheels moving after the bus has been standing for too long. I would like to do De Wilt next week sunday having never done the track. You are welcome to join, I will have to download the photos of the Botswana and Zimbabwe saamtrek and bring a copy with. RE: Gauteng Syncro Day 2014
Yes, we had the Syncro day there for a few years now.
In view of the fact that it seems difficult to find another place, why don't we have it there again? Maybe they will even let us camp there. My proposal would be to meet there late Saturday afternoon, have a nice braai etc, and spend the Sunday morning messing around on the track. From what I understand the owner has always been accomodating and Syncro friendly. May join you on the de Wildt outing - will let you know. E. It's not just a 4x4, it's a Syncro........ |

RE: Gauteng Syncro Day 2014
Look forward to it. I spoke to stuart yesterday and he said he would like to join.
Any body else is welkom to join on sunday. I like your idea about sleeping over at henops. By the end of August it should be warm enough. I will make some enquiries. xavier In all things that don't succeed at first, change your approach and try again. |
