Any ideas on window covers?
We bought our syncro a few weeks ago. When I asked my wife to assist me with a list of the most basics we need when camping for a few days her first suggestion was covers for all the windows.

Do you have any ideas on this?

Thanks

Johan

fit curtains on the inside, easy to do

I may be a mechanic, but i can't fix stupid
Bad planning on your part does not make your issue an crisis to me
Bad workmanship by other garages does not entiltle you to better rates at me
Syncro, syncro , syncro and more syncro, this is the syncro way of life

My wife is the boss here. When I showed here the curtains she flipped. Ha ha.

But searching a found another solution she likes more. You may have some pros and cons of this idea. You can see the write up here. Just go through the 3 steps.

1) [Image: FGP19FMHZFDT310.MEDIUM.jpg]

2) [Image: FUOSHKUHZFDT32K.LARGE.jpg]

3) Add the suckers [Image: FCW6UU6HZFDT338.MEDIUM.jpg]

4) Seal the edges: [Image: FH4BINGHZFDT34Q.MEDIUM.jpg]

Obviously there's some issues I have not considered as the material used here is insolation.

Keeping the Syncro cool during the summer and keeping the heat in during winter but we like fresh air and if all windows are covered then we will have a problem.

For other who may be interested. I spoke to Jacques at alububble.co.za

He has sold the product to another client doing the same on a landy and Kombi.

Instead of using suckers the client used velcro to do the sticking.

no airflow while camping, used in europe to keep the serious cold out, cool if leaving standing outside for long. but i would still do curtains. they have airflow

or do a mirror tint

The roll is 40 meters and you'll use less than 10 meters. If you want 10 meters from me and you are in Cape Town then you can get some from me.

Hi Johan,

I know this is an old post, but do you still have some of the alububble? I am in Cape Town and looking for some.

Thanks,
Nick
