I Nearly Bought a Syncro Once
No, no, no - not that kind of a Syncro!

It was a Michell Syncro, an interesting looking turntable which featured an acrylic plinth, inverted pendulum type suspension system and a glass platter driven via a belt from an AC synchronous motor.

I thought it would be a nice item to have, but my friend who was selling it, decided he wanted to clean it up first. I guess he forgot I wanted it and sold it to someone else. I then bought a Technics SL1200 MkII and in a moment of madness then bought a Vestax PDX-2000 MkII as well. It can be fun getting out the old vinyl records and giving them a spin!
