No syncro underneath, but did do lots of off-roading with it. Also tow my off road bikes. So Gusbus is a workhorse. Lately being helped out by the Syncro. Got 0.82 4th gear. Still rev high hence went for the larger rear wheels

Does anyone know of a syncro / T1 conversion project? Now THAT would be awesome.

RE: Fuel consumption Audi V6 2.6 conversion
That is a 2wd bus, but a fiend is busy with fitting a splitty body to his syncro floor pan,

biggest hassle is the splitty needs to be widened by approx 300mm and lengthened as well, tonne of work

I may be a mechanic, but i can't fix stupid
Bad planning on your part does not make your issue an crisis to me
Bad workmanship by other garages does not entiltle you to better rates at me
Syncro, syncro , syncro and more syncro, this is the syncro way of life

That is what I was imagining - a splitty body on a syncro chassis. I knew it wouldn't fit exactly, but what a cool project! I'd love to see how it turns out. Do you know what engine it will have?

Was going to Syncro this but changed my mind. Too much work. Just put in a LSD. Also added Ford V6. Sure it will keep up with Syncro
