2.something Upgrade to Syncro
Hi All

Hope you all are well.

I just swapped my one car for the new ride of my life a 1991 Microbus
Well its now going to be serious amounts of work in progress

I was wondering what would it cost for a syncro gearbox system as an upgrade to my current gearbox solution

DIY Costs please?

Also as a point of interest, the poor old van may have gone through a tinsy bit of a fire in the engine bay as some stage, so a complete rewire is also in order with me

So if i could be moulded into some form of direction I would greatly appreciate it.

Bad planning on your part does not make your issue an crisis to me
Bad workmanship by other garages does not entiltle you to better rates at me

RE: 2.something Upgrade to Syncro
Hi syncromad

Thank you for replying

I currently have a 2.3 5cyl Audi 500 engine with a carb down grade

To be honest, i only really have the shell and something that resembles the mechanical parts
The Kombi needs a full respray, seats need to be redone, it is code 2 and code 3

The current engine has not been taken for police clearance and the the gears are running backwards to a normal golf and there may be no reverse

Speedo and rev gauge does not work, radiator fan also does not work

So I am open for suggestions?

Regards
Jason
