Syncro Rear Shocks
Gabriel Safari Gas shocks. I bought up a batch of these shocks and now have a few pairs more than I need. R450 each delivered to your door. Brand new although the packaging no longer looks like it. First come first served.

RE: Syncro Rear Shocks
the eye on the safaris i have seen, the top eye is too narrow, squashes the body mount, and then you battle to fit other shocks again, theses may be different, just measure them against other shocks
I may be a mechanic, but i can't fix stupid Bad planning on your part does not make your issue an crisis to me Bad workmanship by other garages does not entiltle you to better rates at me Syncro, syncro , syncro and more syncro, this is the syncro way of life |

RE: Syncro Rear Shocks
Good point. I'll get measurements later but when I compared them to the Monroes I took out they were identical in width although the diameter of the bush is slightly less. I'll take comparison pics later.

RE: Syncro Rear Shocks
Stuart thanks you are correct. Very close but the metal bush on the Monroes is a bit longer. It will be best to put a small washer on either side to prevent the mounting from being closed up.

RE: Syncro Rear Shocks
Ok great, so what is the status quo on this now ?
Is it ok to fit providing you fit some sort of washer with the new shock? Do you still have a pair available ? tx |

RE: Syncro Rear Shocks
Yes they fit fine. Recommended to fit a small washer on either side of the top bush so that the bracket where it attaches is not bent inward, as the bush in the shock is slightly shorter than the width of the bracket.
