2.6 plumbing
Hi all

My (2WD Confused) 2.6 runs hotter than I think it should. Nothing funny on the gauge, but the engine compartment just feels... hot. Maybe it's just me.

However, there are funnies I don't like.

Does anyone have a drawing or pictures of the water pipes, where they come from, where they go? The pipe that bothers me lives between the bottom metal pipe (runs from the thermostat at the rear to the bulkhead and from there maybe to the heater core?) and the top metal pipe (runs around the back of the block towards the manifolds). It's slightly kinked, so I suspect it's not a factory fit. And the kombi (Volksiebus) came with this engine from the factory as far as I know...

Thanks

W

RE: 2.6 plumbing
Thanks for the offer, deanace. Not this week, the distributor is sitting on the front seat of my Golf... First to sort out the pressing issues, then the niggles :-)
