Syncro Lingo?
I am new to the Syncro family and I noticed some things you "old" guys are talking about that makes me think "What the hell? :?: "
Can you guys please explain what is the following:

1.) Big window Syncro
2.) 16" Syncro (This one I am rely wondering about, I have heard of 5", 6" and the occasionally 8", but never about a 16"!!! )
3.) Dokka ?

Is there any other Syncro Lingo that I have to know about?

No one ever ruined their eyesight by looking at the BRIGHT side!!

Re: Syncro Lingo?
I think I can answer those

Big Window Syncro refers to the Syncros manufactured in South Africa only, from 1991 when they changed to the 2.5i Microbus/Caravelle. These had deeper side windows behind the front doors and are referred to as "Big Window" buses. The earlier series had windows the same depth as the front door windows.

16" Syncro refers to the wheel size. The early Syncros had 14" wheels.

Doka refers to the double cab T3 and is derived from the German DobbelKabine.

Hi Nico!
Can you post some pics for the "big window" difference :?:
An also interesting difference to the European busses is the sliding rear side-windows Idea , which is a SA-only feature, I think.

P.S. I think the correct spelling is DoppelKabine
