Re: Baksteen - My Doka Syncro
So I was hoping to show you guys some videos of me playing recently at Groenkloof, but when I post the links I get an error that says I'm forbidden from posting.

This the message;
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /forum/posting.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Dean, any ideas why?

Very nice BHM!
What tyres do you have on it?
Looks like an aggressive 215/75R15?

Why does the starter sound so funny?

Re: Baksteen - My Doka Syncro
They are Westlakes (now Goodride)235/75/15. They are very nice tyres. Not too noisy on the road. Not that I can hear anything past 100 km/h.
The starter is the new Golf reduction gear starter. It almost sounds like racing car when you start.:-)

eclispe you have the same reduction starter on your bus, just the 2.1 has a lot more compression and doesnt swing as fast as a golf engine

Re: Baksteen - My Doka Syncro
BHM

Just watched your Groenkloof videos.... having some great fun...

Don't you miss the torque of the WBX? You are definitely battling with low end torque...

Did you fit the Westlakes before or after lifting you Doka?

What was done to lift your Doka?

How high is it now? Have you measured its lowest point?
