RE: 15 inch rims
Hi Hamish
Looking for 15" rims will they fit over the front brake caliber on a T3 syncro?
where do you stay? close to C.T. Do they have the combi weight bearing ?

Not much right in my left brain, not much left in my right brain!

15 inch rims
Hi there. I am also interested in them if they will fit the t3 syncro. Bought my new 15" tyres but cant find any rims! As soon as I have rims my 14" bullet rims will be available if some one are interested!
That is if Gert don't take them!

RE: 15 inch rims
The rims for sale have a very dished hub attachment area, whereas an OEM VW rim is quite the opposite.

Compare this Rhein rim with the above

Also note the offset and rim width 6J ET45 with OEM 6.5J ET30. I imagine the there is brake caliper interference with an ET45 rim. They might work with 15mm spacers, but then the studs would be too short.

hi Nico, l hear what you are saying, Frans said they fitted straight onto his syncro without spacers, it would be nice if frans could clear this issue up.

Hi Hamish,
I'll check my rims specs and let you know soon if I'll take them or not. Where are you staying, which town?
Greetings
Gert

What kind of mods would be needed to fit them to the 2wd microbus?

You have the Bus, use it, enjoy nature!

RE: 15 inch rims
Just spacers, maybe, seen syncro's with them on with no spacers

I have 8x of these rims for sale, same as pictured, R3000-00 for all 8 rims, or R2000 for 4,

stuart

I may be a mechanic, but i can't fix stupid
Bad planning on your part does not make your issue an crisis to me
Bad workmanship by other garages does not entiltle you to better rates at me
Syncro, syncro , syncro and more syncro, this is the syncro way of life
