our only option really has been to modify 2wd to syncro
let see some pics of your doka's pls

Wood slats were an optional extra made from rose wood apparently. Not cheap either.

Will do when I'm at a laptop. Answering this from my phone.

My Dokas aren't pretty as my focus is mechanical reliability first. Body comes later as the budget allows. I added a 4th door on my Belgian Doka. Why not just buy a Tristar? Well, they didn't make 16" Tristars that I've ever heard. I didn't know the Swedish railroad had 4-door 16" Dokas until ten years after acquiring mine. Oh well, those are relatively scarce.
