New to a Syncro
Hi All,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am Jonathan Glover from Kloof, Durban. I have just got a Syncro (I have been looking for a while). To my untrained eye it looks to be in good condition, it has an VW ADY with a Carb. Mostly complete. Runs somewhat poorly but I just found out it has a pirate carb so that is going to be the first port of call.

I also have an appointment with the Doctor so that should get me in the right direction.

Just a admin question perhaps to start with. What does everyone do for insurance. I have tried a few places and they won't insure prior to 1991 or 1992?

Do people go without? I had a look at the SyncroSA Insurance but have had no word back yet.

Thanks in advance and looking forward the journey

Best

Jon

RE: New to a Syncro
Hi Jon,

Welcome! I'm insured with Outsurance. They didn't raise any questions around my 1989 bus.
